Philippe Biros is a winner of the C.N.S.M. of Paris (class of Aldo Ciccolini), of the Juilliard School of New York and of various international piano competitions (including Sydney 1985).
Since his Prize for the best duet with Gisèle Fixe at the Hugo Wolf competition in Stuttgart in 1987, and for the best French accompanist at the 1988 Paris Competition (UFAM), he has accompanied many masterclasses, notably those of Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Vera Rosza, Gabriel Bacquier , Eric Tappy and becomes the regular partner of Udo Reinemann, Gisèle Fixe, Béatrice Uria-Monzon, Vincent Le Texier, Jyrki Niskanen ...
He is also a vocal director at the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris and was artistic advisor to the Maurice Ravel Academy of St Jean-de-Luz from 1997 to 2012.
