Soloist of the Ensemble intercontemporain from 1993 to 2018, Frédérique Cambreling now devotes herself to her solo activities, to the Trio Salzedo (flute, cello and harp) created in 2010, as well as to the recording of numerous works contemporary that she has interpreted since the beginning of the 21st century, solo or with her Trio. Since teaching is an important part of her life, Frédérique Cambreling is frequently invited to give master-classes in Europe and teaches at the Seine Saint Denis Higher Conservatory.

After having studied music in France and obtained three major international prizes, Frédérique Cambreling was named first solo harp at the National Orchestra of France in 1977. She stayed there until 1986, and it is after leaving this formation that she will be particularly interested in the contemporary repertoire.
Passionate about the diversity of modes of expression related to her instrument, her eclecticism allows her to participate in many musical events in France and abroad.
In recent years, Frédérique Cambreling has been the guest soloist for major ensembles such as: The SWR Symphony Orchestra of Baden-Baden - The Konzerthaus Berlin - The Munich Bayrische Rundfunk Orchestra - The Symphony Orchestra of Stuttgart Radio - the Euskadi Orchestra - the National Orchestra of Lyon - the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra - the orchestra of Picardy - the orchestra of the Mito Festival in Turin - the orchestra of the Opera Lyon - the orchestra of Sau Paulo - the whole given moment. She will perform works for solo harp and orchestra by WA Mozart - C. Debussy - A. Caplet - W. Lutoslawski - D. Milhaud - M. Jarrell - A. Ginastera - L. Berio - Villa-Lobos, and will create there concertos by Luis de Pablo, Philippe Schoeller, Andreas Dohmen, Gerard Buquet and Frédéric Pattar.
